Register to Bid
Please fill in this form if you wish to bid as an absentee bidder. An alternative to registering you bids online is to use the paper form available here. Note that if you register as an absentee bidder, you may still attend the auction as a spectator, but please do not bid as you could be bidding against yourself.
Note that we may bid on your behalf up to your maximum stated bid. The auctioneer will bid for you only if another bidder has placed a bid higher than your previous bid and your maximum will not be exceeded. You may win a lot for less than your maximum if other bidders stop bidding before your maximum is reached.
Notice to bidders:
The large cats in the auction will be on display on the day of the auction and for a few days prior to that in the town square, the other small items will be in the Adam Smith Theatre on the day of the auction. You are invited to inspect the items you wish to bid on in advance. This is a charity auction and the price you bid is the price you will pay (there is no buyers commission on these bids). Small items may be collected in person on payment after the sale. The large cats (with their concrete bases) can be collected by yourselves within 72 hours of the sale completing or we can arrange for shipping at your expense (estimates can be provided and will depend on shipping address). Items not collected will be taken to storage and a storage fee may be charged for this service.
Payment after the sale can be made by BACS or via credit or debit card. No cash will be accepted. The funds will be received into a Kirkcaldy Lottery account held by the Adam Smith Global Foundation and reserved for community benefit projects in the Kirkcaldy area.
